Following the optioning of my first screenplay, Nobody Nowhere to Hollywood producer, Beverley Nero, I completed several more screenplays, began working with an award winning Australian screenwriter and editor, Frederick Stahl, and gained representation by Liz Hanley (Bicoastal Talent & Literary Agency, Burbank, California).
In 2007, I was awarded my first commendation for a film script. The award, sponsored by White Light Productions and hosted by the Fellowship of Australian Writers, was part of the Australian National Literary Awards.
My feature film screenplays to date include:
- Nobody Nowhere (under option) - adapted from the bestselling autobiography, Nobody Nowhere.
- Diamonds In The Mud - a surreal drama set in the 70s and 80s
- The Motherless Club - a tale of friendship, betrayal and reconciliation
- The Protege - a classic thriller
- The Tower - a supernatural suspense/thriller
- Mc Reedy's Christmas - a dystopian epic romance set in 2100
- Man of Vision - a drama with thriller elements which journeys into an altered sensory perceptual world
